Her

The worst feeling in the world is losing love you once had.
"I don't love you anymore" / "I have no feelings for you anymore" are two of the worst sentences one can hear, read or feel. I stressed on the "anymore" because it proves the vanishing of a love that once was.

Sadly, I have experienced the above twice in my life till now, it's no big deal –shit happens.
I sure hope I will never live through it again though.

What matters is what happened after I went through the above mentioned state: I found Her.
Yes.
I-found-Her.

Her is a beautiful person inside-out, she is a mix of natural goodness, sweet empathy, bits of the moon, adventurous spirit, sensitive soul and agile mind.
Her never stops amazing me especially in Silence.
Her continues my sentences, knows what I am thinking and laughs at my silly jokes –worse, she comes up with even sillier ones.
Her's smile makes me forget all the worries in the world.
Her understands all my sides although she barely knows me.
Her makes me feel good about myself even when I am feeling down.
Her is me and vice-versa.
Her is indescribable in words...
Now I wait... for good things are worth waiting for and September with its awesome clouds holds endless promises.

"All makes sense now... The band is ready, the lights are low, the people left and I stand alone in the middle of that wrecked hall waiting for you to join me for this final dance..."
–Me to Her on one summer night

Carpe Diem

There is no higher goal in this ephemeral life than living your humanity.
Living it to the fullest extent, in the smallest details, throughout all your days.

There's no excuse for being inhuman in any way.

What's being human anyway you might ask... well it all starts with any of us having enough heart in us to be compassionate towards others.

We cannot help everyone all the time, we might not cure cancer, we surely will not stop human trafficking, nor will we be able to stop the production of arms or slow down the toxic technological advancement...

But we can smile for that stranger even though he/she is shit incarnated, we can help that woman carry her grocery bags even if we're in a hurry, we surely can pull over and check why that old man looks lost, we can be nice without expecting anything in return, we can love whoever we want and make them know that, we can think about our own comfort just a bit less, we can do lots of little things that will help us get closer to being human.

I am currently a mix of unfolding dreams, sweet chaos, uncertain future and content soul.

I have no idea what tomorrow holds for me, but today I know for sure that I'm gonna "Carpe Diem" in the most human way and though there's a big chance I'm gonna lose again, I am happy to have met you, you who I have not met yet.

You're lost aren't you?

Good.

Bonum facere, sentit se bonum

Where on earth are we heading?
How is it that the wicked rule our world and make things their way?
I have a strong faith -other than my personal religious beliefs- in goodness, but there are days when the gloom takes over my head and confines me in a little box of helplessness.
Recently, I'm fighting this in order to make things happen.
What's the worst that could happen when I'm armed with goodness?
This tee says it best:

Do your own thing...
Do good, it feels good.
Now drink water... while it lasts.

Goodness On The Spot

I was coming back home the other day by car.
On one of bridges that I took, stood an old man with some bags, waving to the passerby, wishing someone would give him a lift.
He seemed really helpless.

Although I saw him from afar,
it took me 3 seconds to realize that I wanted to give him a lift,
but it was too late, since I was in the fast lane.

I decided to make a u-turn and pick him up.
While doing this action (that took nearly 30 seconds),
I thought of how I might have missed my chance in doing a good deed
and that I will arrive only to see that the man disappeared.

I wasn't wrong.
I arrived just in time to see another guy picking the old man up.
It felt as if we were racing for doing the good deed, it made me smile.
-------
Never think a good action twice.
If you feel it, do it on the spot or else you will lose your chance.
