Compassion

It is so easy to surrender to your basic instincts.

One of these instincts: pride.

Yes pride is an instinct when we feel it was touched
someone else's action, an action that isn't justified; at the time.

Then later, when we cool down from the "pride-wrath", why this action was in the first place taken and say to ourselves "what the fuck... what was I thinking... He/she/they must have been in a really shitty situation to take such action...". Then we start patching.

I am one who surrenders to pride sometimes
I am slowly learning to have a bit of compassion.

A little bit of compassion is all we need
in this wretched world of ours.
