Gazing at some object:
a chair, a painting, a wheel, a light, a rock...
and wondering how easier it would be if you were it.
But then again, who knows if these so called "objects" aren't envying us...

Whenever you're having your breakfast in the silent morning (even if you live on a busy street), or just stealing time off-work to have this piece of dessert in the shop around the corner or even day-dreaming stuck in the midst of the eternal 5 o'clock traffic jam, didn't it happen to you?

Nice observations to end one's day with...
ReplyDeleteI wonder too. And I sometimes think of being many things, like a quilt or an old archaic wall or the sea... Sometimes being human is just too much. And then you have those moments, fleeting moments, where it feels great being just human.

I always wonder how it feels like to be "an object" too.

ReplyDeleteWhen you are too close to a painting you cannot see it...when you are too far the same happens.
and try it with yourself, get closer and start moving away slowly.
then you might realize that you are just another object in this world. People treat u like one how?
a chair: they sit on you, feel comfortable for some time, fart then go..(disgusting i know :S )
a stone: people use you to build some things and you feel good about yourself because you are part of a huge project, a building for example, but then again people throw you (usually Palestinians are the best in that)
a light: and this is the most interesting part, the most interesting object one can be, all what the society see is the projected light that enlighten some ways and makes things easier to see but beeing a light and shining to the word always means that you are burning during this process, melting ur core...consuming yourself, just for the them, who, instead of learning to shine, they wear their Rayben sunglasses and filter your essence to fit to their limited visions.
Objects?...no wonder!
